Plans for the 2011-2012 Choir Banquet are being finalized for Friday, May 4th. The theme is "An Evening with the Stars" and everyone will come dressed as their favorite movie character of recent or past. The banquet will be held at Hedrick house and we are limited 150 spots. An Italian dinner will be served!

Val-o-grams On Sale Now!

Be the first kid on your block to send a singing Valentine to someone you love, like, tolerate, want to embarrass, wish was teaching at Marcus, etc!!

Val-o-Grams are $5 each and includes a song by one of our super-amazing ensembles, a box of chocolates, and a card personalized by YOU!! We have 2 ensembles this year: The Farmer 4 guys singing “Stand By Me” and the Lady Harmony girls singing “Why Do Fools Fall in Love.” Take your pick!

Val-o-Grams will be delivered during 2^nd period next Tuesday.
Stop by the Val-o-Gram table during all lunches Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday!

Sonic Hop Fundraiser

Fall Festivities Underway

The annual Cluster Concert will be on Oct 5th. The varsity choirs will be performing alongside our middle school choirs. Also, our Fall Concert is on Thursday Oct. 13 at 7pm! Don't miss it!

San Antonio Fast Approaching!

This weekend the LHS Choirs will be in San Antonio for the annual spring trip. The kids will be jam packed with activities including Fiesta Texas and Sea World. The choirs will also be competing in a competition held at Fiesta Texas. Wish them luck!

LHS Choirs Successful in UIL Competition

Thanks to all the choir students for all of their hard work leading up to UIL.

The Freshman Women's Choir recieved a 2-2-1 on stage and a 1-1-1 in sight reading.
Cantori recieved a 2-2-2 on stage and a 1-1-1 in sight reading.
And Main Street recieved a Sweepstakes which means a
1-1-1 on stage and a 1-1-1 in sight reading.

Congrats to everyone! You did a great job representing LHS!

Sonic Hop A Success!

Pre-UIL Competition tonight at LHS!

Main Street, Cantori, and Freshman Select will be competing in Pre-UIL tonight at LHS! The official competition isn't until April, but until then, the students remain focused on one ultimate goal...Sweepstakes! Wish us luck!

32 Students Receive 1st Division Medals!

17 soloists and 4 ensembles received a superior rating at Saturday's Solo & Ensemble contest. These students will be advancing to the state level!
